Crashing after enabling iCloud sync

I think its the best software to learn English. My favorite feature is a possibility to tap on unknown word to learn its meaning.

Complete and satisfactory. The definitions are often brief but explanatory. It offers you the pronunciation of words and their synonyms and antonyms (contrary). It is also really quick, it doesnt require the internet to work and it never crashes.

The best app ever

The app description claims that it includes a thesaurus, but it does not. Entries have one or two synonyms, but that does not a thesaurus make.

I am a student and I study with these types of dictionaries a lot, so trust me when I tell you that this is the best one. this simple app has saved me so much time. I would really like to thank the creators

BEST dictionary/word reference! Ive tried almost all of them. WordWeb is superior User Friendly, Easy Navigation, Accurate, and concise. Related and Derived from word links are key. Search options are super SMART!

Poor reliability on definitions, just look up this apps definition of alchemy or conservative for just a start. I honestly believe the editors are just guessing, making up or are deliberately skewing definitions. Sad, just sad.

The app seemed great, but I wanted to see what dictionary they were basing their definitions on, and I couldnt find any mention of it. Then I saw Flooreds review and looked up "alchemy" and was very disappointed. The veracity of this dictionary is very questionable.

In addition to having NO ads, if the dictionary cannot find a word, you can go straight to Wikipedia within the app!

In considering any dictionary I check some obscene word to judge its level of honesty. What came up on the first word I input was a long, downright hysterical and embarrassingly self-righteous tirade about the mere existence of the word, going so far as to state that absolutely no one should consider using the word in any situation, ever, and that it is justifiably and rightly forbidden. That was the word, folks, Forbidden. Welcome to Orwell Land. The uptight school marm puritanism of much political correctness gives all progressive thought a bad rap. I’m sure the editors of this app think of themselves as progressive, but they’re actually regressive to the point of being downright victorian. Only a totalitarian mindset could come up with the “definition” I found in my query word, and not wanting to encourage anything totalitarian I definitely do not recommend this app.

Really nice ui with an extensive offline list & a remarkably easy online x-ref. Its probably all you need. The haters here dont seem to make a lot of sense. "Skewed"?? LoL. Evidently, this right wing person was offended by the definition of conservative EXCEPT thats the same definition found everywhere. Typical. "Puritanical"?? I couldnt find any evidence of such. "In-store apps"?? Yep it has them but going without doesnt affect much AND they do add value Disregard the haters & get this.

A very nicely written dictionary. Works as hoped. No ads very much appreciated.
